[EnergyPlus_Support] Source code Compile Issue

Hi,

I am doing some programming based on E+ 7 source code to test some new functions. Before editing the source code, I first compile the original code to ensure the development environment is correct. I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 + Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE.

I can compile successfully, and then run DoE reference building. However, I found that the new complied .exe application runs much slower than the official version. This problem gets worse when I run the large buildings. I wonder what causes the problem? Can anyone tell me how to setup the detail Fortran development environment? What I mean is by right clicking the project and open the properties, we can the configuration properties. My question is how to set each item?

Thank you.
