[EnergyPlus_Support] Zone/Sys Load Predicted

Hey guys,

recently i`ve been in trouble with the system predicted load in EP7 during simulation, and here is the problem:

While i use ideal loads system to get the HVAC load, and results shows 5000, for example. Then i put my HVAC systems into the building, a StandAloneERV with a VariableRefrigerantFlow system to meet the desirable temperature and some sort of humidity. But

when I check the predicted load of the HVAC system, it shows 3800, for example.

the question is: why there`s a difference between the two system ( IdealLoadSys and ERV+VRV) using the Zone/Sys Load Predicted, which should be the same.

In my opinion, the only factor that matters is the difference between the outdoor temperature and the desired temperature, but it seems not true here.

Furthermore, while I try putting only VRV into the zone, the predicted load I get differs from the latter two ( IdealLoadSys and VRV+ERV ), therefore I want to make sure how EP calculate the Predicted Load with different systems, it`s only related to the two temperature (indoor and outdoor)?

So, i wonder if you can help me with this problem. Thank you!

Joey
