Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Modelling Ductless Mini Split Heat Pumps

Mr. Richard,

Yes, thank you.

I read your report on the VRF system modeling.  It has been of great help.

Regards,
Nikhil

This has already been answered?

Use the VRF system! (e.g., ZoneHVAC:TerminalUnit:VariableRefrigerantFlow, etc.)

Hello,

Can anyone help me with the query from trailing mail. I want to model Duct-less mini split heat pumps. (Preferable with a variable speed compressor). Is there any reasonable approximate way of doing this is in EP?

Thanks,

Subject: Modelling Ductless Mini Split Heat Pumps

Hello,

Is there a way to model duct less mini split heat pumps in EnergyPLus? The refrigeration case does not connect to any fan coil type unit and there is no other option where compressor and condenser can be placed separately. Is there any way around this?

Thanks,
Nikhil Sehgal
