[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Unitary DX for cooling - not sizing well

Firstly, setback SP temps are required by 90.1, baring the few exception, for example for radiant heating or cooling. Secondly, they are quite severe, I.e. 13degC if I remember right.

Thirdly, it appears that ASHRAE does not distinguish during occupied and non-occupied hours setpoint not met. As for LEED, if I remember right, you fill in both on the form.

Lastly, I think the 55 Std wording of "peak to peak" should probably mean max peak to troff...I imagine fluxuations over a .25 hr period and measuring the lowest temp and highest temp over that period...if I half that to get a max deviation from the average of the two extream values, I get (supprise) 0.505.

So I think I could settle on a tolerance of 0.5.
And my gut feeling is that pulldown time should be an issue...I'll run the parametric study and let you know what pulldown time gives me 300 unmet hours total. It will be interesting to compare to your 2 F/hr.
