[EnergyPlus_Support] Estimating performance coefficients of chillers and boilers installed in existin

I¡¯m trying to find literatures on estimating methods of performance coefficients (regression model) of the chiller, boilers, pumps, and fan under real-life operation.

Thanks to BEMS (building energy management system), status of many service systems (chiller and boiler and pumps and fans) are measured on-line and stored as text data. Measurement points would be water/air mass flow rate, water/air temperatures, electric power of the systems, gas consumption, pressure rise, etc.

I think if the operation condition is controlled by intentionally during the weekend or holydays, the performance coefficients (regression model) will be estimated easily. If this works well, it would ease the burden of the calibration task for existing buildings.

I do not have expertise in this field; I want to hear your excellent comments on my thought.

Any comment would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Deuk-Woo Kim
