Didn’t read carefully enough…. TMYs are all as Linda and Dru have said.  The longer option is for custom weather periods.

Actually, v7.1 can use longer years.  Check out the RunPeriod:customRange object

All the Typical Meteorological Year type EPWs are 8760 hours.  If you create an EPW from actual weather ,it can have 8784.
