[EnergyPlus_Support] Design Of Experiments

First off, I beg your pardon for asking a non-Energyplus related question on here. I am curious to know if anyone here in the group was running parametric simulations with EnergyPlus and has experience with setting up a design of experiment on the parametric runs that they performed??

I have at least 5 variables that I am looking at in this energy simulation and 2 of the 5 variables have 10 levels each. So obviously a full factorial design would seem very taxing on the computer plus it seems to me that the taguchi approach or some form of fractional factorial design would suffice.

Any opinions/advice/comments will be much appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.
