[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: crash during the warming up period

This looks like 3 independant problems. 1) Shading and geometery, 2) RoomAirModel and 3) AFN.

1) Try and simplify window and shading fin geometries. For example, if you have 3 windows to a zone, you may delete two of them and put a multiplier of 3 in the remaining window object. This may help with the overlapping shading problems that you have. Also you should not use certain radiation modes such as FullExteriorAndInterior... when you have non-convex zones. And it looks like your roof floor is slightly tilted.

2) I've not used the RoomAirModel you are using, but it looks like your crack on the horizontal surface is causing problems with the model's calculations. As a tip you should know that although a crack must be on a surface, the world co-ordinates of the surface are free to put it anywhere...also inside or outside of the zone it belongs to. This could be used when needing to create dummy zones.

3) AFN crack object type you are currently using may not be the best one to model large horizontal openings...there are some that do a better job. Look to the AFN section in the io ref.
