Dear Na,
If you ask for DesignDay simulation (1/21 & 7/21), EnergyPlus reports it for you.
The totals for the two DesignDays and annual energy will be different because they are completely different time lengths. Total energy for the annual simulation is correct (DesignDays are not added to that.)

Hi, all,
I run my simulation for one year from 01/01 to 12/31, and I have two design periods: one is 01/21 for winter and the other one is 07/21 for summer. And for the output of CSV excel, I found that the date it starts to show is results on 01/21 and 07/21 and then follows the results on the whole year from 01/01 to 12/31. So 01/21 and 07/21 appear both twice, my first question is why they appear twice? any necessary to appear at the beginning? My second question is why the results of two times' occurrence are not the same?
