Yes...I meant specifically, regarding App G. "design" is my interperatation...wanted some feedback.
Next question regarding App G.:
G3.1.3.12 Supply Air Temperature Reset. The air temperature for cooling shall be reset higher by 2.3 deg C (5ºF) under the minimum cooling load conditions.
What does that mean?
I assume an AHU with cooling and heating coils with VAV terminal with reheat. I assume the situation where ODA temp is more than 14 deg C (morning after a cold night), but most of the zones still require heating. The AHU outlet temp should be as hot as possible without having to use the heating coil, except that you may have just one zone (say a server room) that needs cooling (i.e. 14 deg C delivered air) so the outlet temp of the AHU is "reset" to 14+2.3 deg C and the rest of the zones just have to re-reheat the cold air to achieve heating. That means the previous 14 deg C air for cooling is allowed to go to 16.3 deg C under when T_ODA is warmer than 14 deg C in the heating mode. Is that right?
As you can tell I'm enjoying confusing myself, just for kicks.
