In my opinion…

While it may be possible, EnergyPlus was never designed to simulate the actual moment-by moment thermodynamic interactions in a building.  Said another way, its thermodynamic principles are excellent, but a real facility will differ in significant ways and you should not assume too much about the results obtained from such a high resolution study.

Look at the External Interface application guide -- it may be possible with BCVTB to have a smaller time step than 1 minute.  It is not, really, with the native EnergyPlus engine.  Though, it m
