Here's the version for V7.2 taken from my install.

There were some missing example fiels in the V7.2 install but they were later in the alphabet. Not sure why you couldn't find it.

Example files are installed with your install of the program

Which EnergyPlus Example File has...

Two links from the installation:

Example Files Summary Sheet - highlights each example file

Example Files Link to Objects - shows the first three example files (if that many exist) that have a particular object.
