I am not sure if this is the correct approach- but what I did was model a chiller and boiler with a AHU then a packaged heat pump in the zone. My thought was that the pre-heat/cooled air from the AHU would supply the air source heat pump in the zone to mimic the actual system. Where my work around is questionable is the efficiency between the AHU and the ASHP.. Possibly there is a better solution but I wanted to keep the project in DB so this was the best option I could come up with.. Possibly you could do the same..

The heat pump works both in heating mode (winter season) and in cooling mode (summer season).
In cooling mode I could model such a system as a chiller. But how could I model it in heating mode?
Could I find an example file in the folder ExampleFiles? I found examples, like 5ZoneWaterLoopHeatPump.idf, in which heat is transmitted through air loops but in my case there is no air loop.
