You can copy loose geometry and paste it into an OpenStudio space, but this will be much more useful if the geometry was drawn with the intent of being used for an energy model, otherwise it may not make very clean or function zone geometry. One issue when you paste loose geometry is that sub surfaces will be classified as base surfaces. You can re-classify those surfaces by deleting and then redrawing one edge.
