[EnergyPlus_Support] Green roof parametric simulation

Hello,
I'm a graduate student doing a parametric study of the thermal performance of green roofs through energy modeling. I'm using Design Builder-EnergyPlus for my simulations and the parameters I'm testing are -insulation thickness, soil depth and leaf area index (LAI). One of the performance metrics I'm looking at is the energy use intensity (EUI) of the building (medium sized prototypical office building in Los Angeles)and my study shows that the difference in EUI between the different green roof assemblies is very low, when I change any one of the parameter values. For example, an uninsulated green roof with LAI=5, soil depth= 3" shows a reduction in EUI by only 0.002% when compared to a green roof with soil depth= 12" other parameters remaining the same. This is true for all the parameters. Am I going wrong with the model somewhere or is this expected? Would anyone be able to comment on that, with a prior knowledge of parametric testing? I would appreciate any kind of feedback.

Thank you,
Sananda.
