[EnergyPlus_Support] District Cooling Problem

Dear Forum,

For an office building pursuing the LEED Certification, I am performing the energy modeling and due to the project situation I am modeling a District Cooling system using Option 1: Building Stand-Alone Scenario. There is something very strange in the results because the district cooling consumption for the baseline design is around 40% more than for the proposed design, and only the lighting levels are less than the baseline design and the baseline envelope is much more efficient than the proposed, so I do not a trust the results. There should me a mistake somewhere but I have no clue where is the problem, since in the district cooling object the only thing you can change is the cooling capacity. I have reported the District Cooling Inlet Temp variable and it shows that for the baseline design it fluctuates between 10 and 11 degrees Celsius and for the proposed design is between 7 and 7.5 degrees Celsius. I suspect this is the problem, but cannot manage to modify this inlet temperature so they are the same in both proposed and baseline designs. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Santiago
