Thanks for verifying this. Definitely works fine on my office PC, so for now I'll just use that when necessary.

As for the workaround, how does that work? Doesn't the package you linked to just go up to 7.2? I've used those previous version updaters before with no prob, but here the issue is getting from 7.2 to 8.0. Not a big deal, just curious.
