If you only want the system to serve 1 zone/room, then recommend that you look at:
 
ZoneHVAC:PackagedTerminalAirConditioner
ZoneHVAC:PackagedTerminalHeatPump
 
 
In addition to reviewing the documentation (IO Reference and Engineering Reference) regarding these two systems, also recommend that you review the following two example files located in the \ExampleFiles\ folder
 
PackagedTerminalAirConditioner.idf
PackagedTerminalHeatPump.idf
 
 
 
If you decide later to have the system serve multiple rooms/zones, the you should look at the following objects instead:
 
AirLoopHVAC:UnitaryHeatCool
AirLoopHVAC:UnitaryHeatPump:AirToAir
 
and the following associated example file:
 
HeatPump.idf

I want to simulate a residential Split Unit system serving one zone (Room)with heating and cooling. I was looking in the E+ documentation for any solutions, but I couldn't understand which option feeds with my case. Any suggestions for examples or approach to the particular case will be very helpful.
