I suggest you read the information on PCM MaterialProperty:PhaseChange, on the  InputOutrefference.pdf manual. You can find it the documentation folder. There is also some some details about the numerical engineering behind it at EngineeringReference.pdf. You also have an example file CondFD1ZonePurchAirAutoSizeWithPCM.idf where you have the object running.
To get started with Energyplus there are some tutorials at GettingStarted.pdf.  

I have no experience using this object, but I'm about to start a similar study for the climate in my region, o I will probably will be able to give you some more help very soon.

I have read many posts on this group about PCM, if you do a search, you will find common problem and how they are solved by experienced E+ users.

Hi everyone,

This is the first time for me to use energy plus , i want to use it at my thesis to improve the envelop behaviour at Syrian and arab countries (hot arid climate ).
i need to use PCM materials for wall, for that which information i need it to apply for simulation and how?
i know that energy plus could calculate this case but how ? i could not understand.
please if anyone could help me
