RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Contaminant Modeling

Jean:

Both zone air CO2 and contaminant are modeled similar to zone air
temperature and moisture. Zone air balance equations are shown in sections
of Carbon dioxide predictor-corrector and Generic contaminant
predictor-corrector in the Engineering Reference.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Contaminant Modeling

Hello Group,
Anyone know if contaminant modeling also models the flow of contaminant from
room to room when using AirFlowNetwork?

If I model CO2, for example, does it leak into other spaces or get exhausted
with AFN objects?

How is this currently modeled?

Regards,

Jean
