RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Temperature controls for radiant systems

Hi,

There is an EMS actuator on the water flow rate.  You could set up your own control program to set the flow of water.  Native controls for the radiant slab model should be relaxed so they don?t interfere to shut down operation.

Each HVAC system node, such as the named outlet node of the radiant slab, has a set of output variables that you can request.  See the RDD output file for listings for ?System Node? outputs such as System Node Temperature and System Node Mass Flow Rate.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Temperature controls for radiant systems

Hi,

We are trying to model a radiant system which works by tempering the building structure during night time (Thermally Activated Buildings Systems or also known as Concrete Core Activation).

The system has a set supply water temperature, and a variable (up to a set maximum) water flow rate through the radiant objects.
