[EnergyPlus_Support] Unitary Heat pump model: Space conditioning rate variables

I'm looking for the annual metric that describes total heating and cooling provided to space (to be used for annual COP calculations). I am simulating a building with a multi-speed unitary heat pump model.

Energyplus outputs the following variables:

1)	DX COOLING COIL:Cooling Coil Total Cooling Rate [W](Hourly)
2)	DX HEATING COIL:Heating Coil Total Heating Rate [W](Hourly)
3)	FORCED AIR SYSTEM:Unitary System Total Cooling Rate [W](Hourly)
4)	FORCED AIR SYSTEM:Unitary System Total Heating Rate [W](Hourly)

For heating, the two variables ( #2 and #4) are roughly the same. However, for cooling, these two variables (#1 and #3) are different. Does anyone know why this? Why are #1 and #3 different values?

Thanks.
