Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The weather files on the Energy plus website are the typical weather of a location, while I need the actual measured weather data.
Most of the weather data resources listed in the additional resource you pointed out to, does not give the "epw" file directly, and if it does, then its not for free.
So I was wondering if I could somehow get the "epw" files based on the real measured data, for free ?
Lastly, I don't need weather predictions for Energy plus simulation. I need it for my controls.
So, it would be great if I can also get the predictions.

Subject: Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Weather Data and Predictions
There are vast number of weather files available on the
www.energyplus.gov site.
As well, there are a selected number of weather files available on the
Yahoo Group EnergyPlus support site.
Additional resources are shown in:
http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/weatherdata_simulation.cfm
EnergyPlus weather files are designed for energy simulations. Weather
predictions don't enter into that.
Information on selecting weather data appropriate for energy simulation
is described in this paper:

Energy Simulations of Commercial Buildings?" in ASHRAE Transactions,
