RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Custom Output:Variables

Did you try?

Another possibility is to sum these variables in a spreadsheet.  Import the .csv file with each of the Output variables into a spreadsheet and sum them.

I want to group together some internal gain variables (people, electric equipment etc.). So I think Output:Meter object does not support this.

The Output:Meter and Meter:Custom objects allow you to either add or subtract consumption variables.

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to specify in the idf file custom new Output:Variable objects which are combinations (sums for example) of existing Output:Variables.
I would like for example to have an output which is the sum of Zone Total Electric Equipment Heat Gain Rate and Zone Total Lights Heat Gain Rate.

Thanks,
