Andy,
If I use a passive chilled beam, wouldn't the cooling be more convective?
Regarding question 2: Yes I also think that the radiative component of the concrete ceiling won't have any effect.
The client however is convinced that the indoor air will be cooled by the concrete ceiling, as the air can pass between the concrete and the false ceiling.
I was wondering if this effect can be calculated.
