RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] VRF Dedicated Outdoor Air System with ERV

Stan Ho,

VRF is a zone-based system, while DOAS is an air loop-based system.  This means that you can create a DOAS air loop which serves each zone and also have a VRF system serving each of the same zones.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] VRF Dedicated Outdoor Air System with ERV

Hello,

I am simulating a building with VRF system for each thermal zone, and a VRF Dedicated Outdoor Air System with ERV. I cannot decide which is a good method to simulate this VRF Dedicated Outdoor Air System with ERV. It seems that the HVAC template DOAS cannot been assigned to VRF system. Is there any good methodology for this VRF DOAS ERV system? Thank
