Yes, it is very easy to add the material property phase change material to a model, however it can be quite difficult to get it to perform as you might want.  Attached is an example of a solar decathlon home in this years competition that uses bioPCM for solar gain control.

Hi,

the simulation of the PCM in E+ is pretty easy. You need to use the MaterialProperty: PhaseChange obj in combination with the standard material definition. Therefore you need to provide the tabular vaariation of the enthalpy over temprature and then assign the same material by means of the name. Carefull becosuse you need to cover the full temperature range experienced by your material during the simulation.
The PCM material simulation works only with the conduction finite difference solver and not with the standard conduction transfer function.
