Sizing:Zone is not required if you have actual capacities for all of your components (i.e., no auto-sizing)

I am trying to understand the object Sizing:Zone. First of all I would like to understand if it is necessary to create a sizing:zone object when running simulation with HVAC systems (I am only interested in the energy usage, and not in sizing the system).
