According to the Release notes of EnergyPlus 8.0, it is now possible to export EnergyPlus itself as an FMU. The documentation points to the LBNL website hinting at a tool to be found there than can achieve this, but I couldn't find the tool.
Has anyone got this to work yet? I couldn't find any information in the archives of group or with google searches, but the results are all polluted with the FMU import scenario so that doesn't say much...
