Look in the Input Output Reference and search for "Weather Data Hourly Interpolation "... this might explain the differences that you are seeing.

just for curiosity I was comparing the outdoor dry bulb temperature of the weather file .epw with the simulation output variable "outdoor dry bulb". Is it normal that the values are not equal? They are very similar, but not equal. I was wondering if EnergyPlus does some adjustments to the dry bulb temperature values that it finds in the .epw before applying those to the simulations.
