RE: Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] How to change the solar radiation calculation model in Energyplus

If your study is for Hong Kong as I assume, I suggest you read these papers to find the best solution for you:

Dear Joe

Could you mind to help me split the direct normal irradiance from the global horiozontal solar radiation?

Dear all,

I have used EnergyPlus to simulate the hourly solar radiation incident on the south facing wall. However, i found the simulation results are much lower than the measured results at noon of sunday, so I think may be i should change the solar radiationo model. I know how to change the model for the designday simulation, but for the runperiod simulation, i don't know how to change the solar radiation calculation model.  Thank you in advanced for your kind help.

Regards

Jallen
