in e+ you can group surfaces (radiant surface group object) that use the same lowtemprad object, but the flow rates must be split/assigned for each surface in the group. zero for any surface in the group is not allowed. designbuilder must sort it out on their side, e+ is working like it should IMO.

Using Designbuilder I had no problems in Energyplus v7.2 or 8.1.004 beta.

Using the new Designbuilder version with Energyplus v 8.1.008 I get 4 severe errors regarding nearly zero fractions in a chilled ceiling surface part.

 

Energyplus advises me to remove these surfaces, but in Designbuilder you can't do this. Anyone ayn idea what suddenly causes this error ?
