I like to go fast, but my wife doesn’t – so I drive slower.
Computers are another matter J, faster is definitely better (and my wife doesn’t care). I, too, use a solid state drive for the same reason as Jason. Unlike Jason, I never tested it – kudos for following through on the testing!
p.s., My i5 Sandybridge CPU with SSD takes 604s for the RefBldgOutPatientNew2004 IDF – 25% longer than your i7
