[EnergyPlus_Support] Surfaces heat storage energy output

Hi all,

I was trying to understand what is the amount of heat that is stored in the structure. Fir this I reported  the output variable: Surfaces heat storage energy.

The results showed for this output positive/negative values.

Does make it sense to have negative values ? or this could be not the right output for what I'm searching for ?

any though ?
