[EnergyPlus_Support] RE: Chilled Beams

A four pipe induction unit typically has higher static pressure than the averaage active chilled beam system.  Also, traditional induction unit systems only have units along the perimeter with a VAV/CAV system in the core spaces depending on year of construction.  A chilled beam system should have units in the core as well as the perimeter along with some type of perimeter heating/cooling if necessary.  An issue with the induction system is that to achieve the desired temperature for the core spaces, some of the perimeter units may need to reheat previously cooled air at the AHUs which is not the case in the chilled beam scenario since every space has local heating/cooling coils.
