[EnergyPlus_Support] RE: Solar Collectors
Follow this previous post by Dru Crawley to get started.
Check out the 'Example Files Summary Spreadsheet' that you can access from the E+ menu (Windows button, All Programs, EnergyPlus V8-1-0 Programs, Example Files Summary Spreadsheet).
The example file 'GeneratorswithPV' comes with EnergyPlus installation. Yes, you can do stand-alone PV, PV as building shading, building integrated, and PV/thermal.
