This strikes me as slightly crazy in Climate Zone 5b, but it would be enjoyable to practice golf on a winter day!
I am preparing a proposal to model energy use for this project and my brain is spinning as I consider an unknown mechanical system and a lot of other details that are not fully developed for this project. Have any of you modeled something similar? Any counsel for energy aspects to include or pitfalls to avoid?
p.s., the picture below is a rendering of the anticipated design. The golfer stands â??indoorsâ?? next to an open rolling door, then hits to an outdoor range. They close the door when the space is unoccupied. (I think theyâ??ll lose a lot of golf balls in the snow! This area has an average of 2 meters snowfall each year.)
