My last post disappeared so here's the short version:
- you should use Window 7 (or higher) to create your complex glazing as you can switch between rating norms. This way you can set it up as per EU norms for example, then switch to American norms so that e+ uses the correct inputs. Even better, instead of using the simplified inputs, you can import the complex glazing definition from an exported Window file (needs a bit of tweaking).

- side note: Joe Haung is involved in an ASHRAE research project to adress the issue of reverse engineering complex fenestration from simple inputs and will hopefully include selecting the norm used for the inputs. It will work slightly differently than the current implementation of the reversed engineered complex fenestration that the e+ simple object does.
