Iâ??ve modeled the office spaces as separate zones and their DSFâ??s as separate zones. Iâ??ve equipped the zones with all air system, using OpenStudio. The HVAC system is set to condition the office spaces.
In order to ventilate the DSFs, Iâ??ve replaced the AirLoopHVAC:ZoneMixer with AirLoopHVAC:ReturnPlenums, with a single ReturnPlenum for each DSF (one DSF per office). However, for now I had to give all ReturnPlenums outlet nodes the same name in order to connect it to the AirLoopHVAC:Returnpath.
However with this approach, the room air temperature rises to 50degC. When I didnâ??t ventilate the DSF, the roomâ??s air temperature was 24degC. The air temperature in the DSF does decrease in the ventilated version (71decC vs 100degC)
Iâ??ve disabled the heat recovery (schedule always off), but this didnâ??t have any effect.
I also tried to connect all ReturnPlenums to ZoneMixer, but this resulted in a crash.
Would you have any suggestions on how to model these ventilated DSFs correctly?
