[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Doubt About Glazing U-Factor Simulation
Yes, the model allows a maximum value of U-5.8 W/m2·K, as stated in the I/O reference. Basically, the resistance of the air films alone can provide some level of performance and if you enter a value that results in a negative resistance, then the model resets it to a reasonable value.
