The DesignBuilder schedule name is commented out during idf generation. I believe a unique number generation is used for the matching name in the idf.
Sometime ago this was also the case for construction names. There was a matching index in the DB csv report so that one could matchup the names.
There are definately some rules for how they do this, but you would have to ask DB support on the helpdesk there.
