Hi all,
A simple question: when modelling ASHRAE 90.1 baseline HVAC system, should each chiller be equipped with a separate pump or just one pump serves multiple chillers if more than one chiller is required (G3.1.3.7)
I suppose so, but it is hard to find anywhere clearly stating this. The only helpful info is from the last sentence of section G3.1.3.11 (I am using 2007 version) "Each chiller shall be modeled with separate condenser water and chilled-water pumps interlocked to operate with the associated chiller."
Further to that simple chiller pump question, how to interpret above sentence precisely?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Sean
