Well, if there is other equipment that heats or cools the other half of the thermal zone then it should likely be a separate thermal zone, but you can always subdivide the floor surface into multiple surfaces and only assign the radiant floor construction to the smaller floor surface(s) as appropriate

Keep in mind though that thermal zones are considered well mixed unless you define otherwise

But if just part of the floor is heated, how do you do it?
I mean, if just, for example, half of a room floor, or of a zone floor, is heated.
