The tool can be used for the DX coil types: Coil:Cooing:DX:SingleSpeed, Coil:Heating:DX:SingleSpeed, Coil:Cooing:DX:TwoSpeed (high and low speed) , CoilPerformance:DX:Cooling (each stage), and any HVAC equipment that use Biquadratic, Cubic or Quadratic curves. To add this flexibility generic input data labels can be populated by selecting "Other" for DX Coil Type input field, located in Cell B3 in the INPUT tab.



In other words, this spreadsheet has been set up primarily as if it were curve-fitting data for unitary DX cooling and DX heating equipment.  However, its really just a tool to curve fit one dependent variable as a function of one or two independent variables.  As long as you get the dependent variable and independent variable information properly entered in the "INPUT" tab, then it should create the curve fit objects that you want.  In cell B3, change the selection to "OTHER".  Then look at the E+ chiller models to determine the independent and dependent variables required for those models... and thus the performance information that must be entered in the INPUT tab of the curve fit spreadsheet.
