There are many approaches. I believe the one zone approach best. Include a dynamic gradient room air temperature model for it, if it is considered nessesary.

May I ask how to make simulation model for void or transparent assumption?
I would like to make a simulation model for two storeys building that have a void design between first floor and second floor.
