RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Conduction Transfer Functions

This web site lists many papers on EnergyPlus and its predecessors.  Look back at the very early ones (1996-2000) and those on BLAST (send bottom of the web page):

I believe there are a couple of references to theses that discuss CTFs.  Seem's thesis and papers come to mind.

In EnergyPlus, the common method to calculate conduction through building surfaces (Heat Balance Algorithm, in the idf) is Conduction Transfer Functions.
The EngineeringReference.pdf has some information about this, but I find it isn't enough to understand it. Does someone know of some book/thesis/etc with detailed and good information about Conduction Transfer Functions?
Thanks,

Rui
