Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] "Equivalent layer" in Energyplus





The blind object "Windowmaterial:Blind:Equivalentlayer" is used in "Construction:WindowEquivalentLayer" object only. This object is not allowed or used with "WINDOWMATERIAL:COMPLEXSHADE" object. The "WINDOWMATERIAL:COMPLEXSHADE" object is used with complex fenestration model.  

Check the documentations for details.  See the example file "EquivalentLayerWindow.idf" on how to use the "Windowmaterial:Blind:Equivalentlayer".

Hi
I wanna simulate a blind in "Window material:Blind:Equivalent layer" but the software doesn't know equivalent material type in "construction: equivalent layer". The file is attached to email. I'll appreciate if help me.
