Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Weather Data file- understanding

There are hundreds of posts about weather data files (just in the last year!); where to find them, how to create them...
Search the forum and you will find more than you ever imagined.

TMY3 or epw files are said to have average data for 20 years or. I am trying to extract the hourly average temperatures for a year. However, why the year is mentioned with a range( like 1989 to 2002) if the data is average. Whereas total hours is correctly 24*365 rows. How to interpret the files.

How can I get average hourly data for a year with only month and day are index with hours.

Please help
