Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Temperature out of bounds during warmup

â??The first thing I normally do with such a warning is to increase the number of warmup days to 365. Next the convergence criteria could be â??loosened up.  Your error sounds like it could be a bug due to it only happening with a specific HVAC system and suggest you send the file to the help desk.

Hi all,

We ran into a problem with one of our model. When we run the simulation, we get a severe error saying that the temperature of a surface is out of bound (really high) during warmup. This error happened when we switch system serving the zone from a VRF system to a PSZ (UnitarySystem). I tried to find information on a similar issue on this group and on the web but I could only found this page EnergyPlus Errors. The zone is indeed highly glazed, but we didn't use to have this error when the model was setup using a VRF system. I tried to run the model with the zone set up as an ideal load system and this error doesn't appear. We were also thinking that we may have not enough internal mass, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Would you have any ad vice regarding the way to deal with this issue?

Thanks a lot for your help.
