You would have to look at the values of the Solar Radiation
(diffuse/direct) to see when the sun is up.
Are you plotting design days? Winter design days have 0 clear so no
solar.
Better if you send the idf file to the helpdesk and ask them -- it is
hard to speculate without seeing the actual output.
